Modern Masters OTT release date: When, where to watch SS Rajamouli documentary

SS Rajamouli is known for his brilliant works like Prabhas starrer Baahubali and Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR. These films were not only a box office success but also broke multiple records becoming blockbusters. Netflix is now all set to bring a biographical documentary on the filmmaker which will be titled 'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli'. 

Netflix announces SS Rajamouli’s documentary

The biographical documentary will focus on the renowned filmmaker and his success including Baahubali and RRR. The release date of the documentary is now out and it is all set to start premiering from August 2. It will also feature known figures including James Cameron, Joe Russo, and Karan Johar who will be seen sharing insightful perspectives. Not just this, the film will also feature close collaborators including Prabhas, Jr NTR, Rana Daggubati, and Ram Charan.

The documentary will be presented by Anupama Chopra who said, "S.S. Rajamouli is a visionary whose imagination has altered the course of Indian cinema." She further spoke about his craft and added, "His craft has captivated audiences around the world. His epic narratives have redefined storytelling standards. We are thrilled to work with Netflix and Applause Entertainment to highlight his extraordinary career and his lasting influence on the world of film."

The film will delve into the filmmaker's impact on both Indian as well as global cinema and is produced in partnership with Film Companion Studios and Applause Entertainment. The documentary will be a part of Netflix's esteemed 'Modern Master' series which celebrates the achievements and accolades of Inida's most creative visionaries. It will be a part of Netflix's 2024 slate of documentaries which also includes a cricket documentary - 'The Greatest Rivalry - India vs Pakistan, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, and others. 

Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli promises to offer a comprehensive look at Rajamouli's creative journey through behind-the-scenes glimpses as well as interviews.
