TVF's Kota Factory which has been renewed for the second season has got its streaming date on Netflix. The makers unveiled a new teaser along with the announcement of its debut on the leading streaming platform. The series is a story set in Kota, a hub for many coaching centres where students come from all over India to prepare for various entrance exams. Kota Factory follows the life of 16-year-old Vaibhav who moves to Kota from Itarsi. The series shows the life of students in the city and their efforts to get into IIT.
The second season features Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai and Urvi Sing in the lead roles and is set to stream on Netflix from September 24, 2021.
Meanwhile, the first season of Kota Factory dropped on Netflix on August 27, 2021, much to the excitement of the fans.
As per Netflix, Raghav Subbu, the director of the series said in a statement, "As a director, I try to create stories that inspire and enthral audiences throughout. Season 2 of Kota Factory will chronicle the journey of students at Kota and the struggles they face daily, which will make it more engaging and realistic."
He added that the compelling story and spectacular performances will keep the audience intrigued.
The writers of the series are Saurabh Khanna, Abhishek Yadav, Puneet Batra and Manoj Kalwani.
The show captures the melancholic life of Indian students who prepare for competitive exams. In this season, will Vaibhav move onto greener pastures, leaving behind Jeetu Bhaiya, his friends and his love interest? Meanwhile, Jitendra who plays Jeetu Bhaiyya is touted to be the modern-day Dronacharya.
