Anime fans have every reason to be excited, courtesy of Netflix. The streaming giant has finally let out a glimpse of the logo and the title of the first episode of its upcoming live action adaptation of One Piece. The news of the latest adaptation of the wildly popular Japanese manga had sparked the excitement and anticipation of fans, since it was announced way back in January last year.

Netflix Geeked unveiled a glimpse of the first page of the show’s script and logo on its Twitter handle last night. The photograph reveals the title of its first episode as well, which appears to be titled ‘Romance Dawn’. The episode shares its name with the first volume of the original manga, this nod to its roots sure to be appreciated by longtime fans. Netflix accompanied the reveal with a stirring caption as well, urging viewers to follow their goals.

The manga, created by Eiichiro Oda, has been in circulation since 1997 and has earned several records to its name in terms of copies published and sold. The media franchise it has spawned also includes a much loved anime series of the same name as well, and follows the story of a young boy whose body gains the flexibility and dexterity of rubber, after he accidentally eats a Devil Fruit. Viewers and readers get to follow his adventures as he joins a crew of quirky pirates who go in search of the world’s greatest treasure, the titular ‘One Piece’, which will make its holder the king of pirates.
