Neha Dhupia has tried her hands at many things, including acting in movies, be it on the big screen or OTT. She has also hosted talk shows and even podcasts. Now, the actor is all set to foray into a long-format family comedy series. Neha has previously appeared in OTT films such as a Karan Johar-directed segment of Lust Stories on Netflix, short film Devi, Sanak and A Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar.

Talking about her new venture, a source told Mid Day that this as-yet-untitled series is an ensemble comedy, and Neha is the first performer to sign on. The casting process has begun, and five more actors will be brought on board to play major roles. An established platform has given its blessing to the project's first-time director.
Crime dramas have been extremely popular on the internet over the past couple of years, but Neha wanted a change of pace for her first web series. The actor was overjoyed to land this role because sitcoms are rare on the Indian OTT scene. Locations in Mumbai and Delhi have been secured.
Meanwhile, confirming the project, Neha expressed her delight at becoming a part of this wonderful project. She said that the series is a clever idea, and she can't wait to play around with all the wacky possibilities presented by the script.

Earlier, while talking about her wishlist, Neha revealed that she would like to work in a sports biopic. The actor said that actors in sports films are typically portrayed as being in their twenties. Sports have always been the bedrock of her life, so she would love to be a part of a biopic in which she may portray either an athlete or a coach. She went on to say that more roles like Munni in Phas Gaye Re Obama are what she craves, and Neha intends to prolong her professional existence for as long as she can.
