Neem Phuler Modhu star Arijita Mukhopadhyay faces trolling, raises voice against it

Neem Phuler Modhu stayed consistently among the top five in the TRP list. People like Parna and Srijan's duo and their family. Arijita Mukherjee plays Srijan's mother. Since the character is negative, the actress has been facing trolling. Now, she has become vocal against it. 

Krishna Dutta, played by Arijita, is a household name. People do not like the character for making Parna's life difficult. Memes are made about her and trolls attack her. They also drag her personal life. 

In an interview, Arijita told Aajtak, “We have a group where we post all the memes made on us. We chat about them and share the memes. We have fun with them.” The actress further said, “When I came to this profession leaving my job I knew that I have to hear both positives and negatives. Even Amitabh Bachchan is not liked by everybody. Hence I accept the memes as funny. Once, someone made a witch with Krishna's photo. Though I like them, personal attacks are not good.” 

Arijita said that she faced trolling for doing her job. “Everyone knows that we are just playing the characters. It has no connection with my personal life. A story moves with both positives and negatives. Still, many people attack me personally. My mother can't accept them. Once, a person wished that I die of a serious disease. I feel bad about these incidents,” she said.
