The Malayalam film industry gears up for a massive project as Mohanlal and Mammootty reunite after 11 years for a film directed by Mahesh Narayanan.

The Malayalam film industry, which has proven itself once more this year, is gearing up for one of its massive projects, with two powerhouses of talent, Mohanlal and Mammootty, all set to reunite for a film directed by Mahesh Narayanan. It has also been officially confirmed that actor Nayanthara is also part of the project, which boasts a stellar ensemble star cast along with Fahadh Faasil and others.
Mohanlal and Mammootty will be reuniting once again after 11 years, setting up for one of the massive Malayalam projects to take place. Helmed by Mahesh Narayanan, the yet-to-be-titled project will boast a star ensemble. Actor Nayanthara is officially part of the film, which will also feature actors Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban, among others.

The film has gone on floors in Sri Lanka, with Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Kunchacko Boban joining the sets. The film is co-produced by Subhash George Manuel, after the inaugural first clap by C.R. Salim. Along with Mohanlal, Rajesh Krishna, Salim Sharjah, Anura Mathai, and Tejas Thampi were also present at the lamp-lighting ceremony.
Nayanthara has individually worked with both superstars. She has shared the screen space with Mohanlal in Natturajavu, and Vismayathumbathu and also worked with Mammootty in films like Puthiya Niyamam, Bhaskar the Rascal, and Rappakal.
Produced by Anto Joseph, the film is written by Mahesh Narayanan. The film will be shot in various locales of Sri Lanka, London, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kochi, over a span of 150 days.
Other parts of the cast include Ranji Panicker, Rajiv Menon, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, Revathi, Darshana Rajendran, Sereen Shihab, and Prakash Belawadi. The technical crew consists of cinematography by Manush Nandan, and production design by Joseph Nellickal. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
