Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale is an upcoming documentary film which will trace the life of the actor, and is soon to premiere on Netflix. Slated for a November 18 release, the makers released the trailer of the documentary film which will feature some exclusive interviews and moments from the life of Nayanthara.
Celebrated actor Nayanthara, who predominantly works in the south film industry, is set to star in the upcoming documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale, which will premiere on Netflix. The documentary film will look back at her journey, the love she shares in her life, and the superstardom she achieved amid personal struggles and triumphs in this intimate documentary.
The trailer begins with the footage of Nayanthara from various films, as they cheer her as Lady Superstar, as we see personalities from the film industry talking about the actor. We see actors like Upendra, Taapsee Pannu, Radhika Sarathkumar, and director Atlee talk about Nayanthara. Taapsee says how Nayanthara proved wrong every rule written for a female actor. The documentary also shows the low moments that happened in her life, insights from her mother, and the subsequent wedding with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. We see the couple sharing some light moments, their friends talking about them, as we see the footage of their wedding.
Filmmaker Amrith Krishnan directed the documentary film. Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale has a runtime of 81 minutes. Nayanthara also speaks in the film, as we hear a voiceover of Gautham Vasudev Menon asking why she is doing this film, given how guarded she is about her personal life.
Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale is set to premiere on Netflix on November 18. The actor was last seen in Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. Her upcoming films include The Test, co-starring Siddharth and Madhavan, Mannangatti Since 1960, Mookuthi Amman 2, and Thani Oruvan sequel. She also has Dear Students in Malayalam alongside actor Nivin Pauly.
