Nayan Rahoshyo: Sandip Ray to start shooting new Feluda film in August

Sandip Ray promised to return with a Feluda film year. This time he will bring Satyajit Ray’s Nayan Rahasya (The Eye Mystery). The Hatyapuri team, which includes Indraneil Sengupta, Ayush Das, and Abhijit Guha, is once again working together with the director as Feluda, Topshe and Jatayu, respectively. 

When will the shooting begin? Who will play the role of young boy, Nayan? According to Aajkal Dot In, Sandip Raj confirmed that the shooting will begin by the next month. “We plan to start shooting from the last week of August. The final touches are being done in the cast selection. My old team is still with me. This time, we are collaborating with Surinder Films,” said the director. 

However, he doesn't want to reveal who will play the role of the wonder boy, Nayan. Sandip mentioned, “We have added several new actors. Their screen test is underway. The definitive selection for Nayan has not been made yet. So, announcing the name right now is not possible.” Additionally, Lalita Ray is in charge of costume design. Sandip's son, Sourdeep Ray, will assist him behind the camera.

In the story, Feluda goes to Madras (now Chennai). Will the team also shoot in Chennai for Feluda?

Sandip explained that all the locations mentioned in the story will be shot at their respective places. Generally, Feluda's films release during winter. Will it be the same this year? The director replied, "Usually, that’s how it happens. We have to see before deciding whether there will be any film releases in winter. If there are many films to be released, then Feluda might also return in the summer of the coming year.”
