Nawazuddin Siddiqui REVEALS what Salman Khan did to him during 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and if his lines have been stolen by any actor

It's always said that ‘Great things often have small beginnings. It just cannot be truer than in the case of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. After having debuted in Bollywood with an extremely small role in the superhit film ‘Sarfarosh’ (which starred Aamir Khan and Sonali Bendre), Nawazuddin Siddiqui went onto do films like Ram Gopal Varma's ‘Shool’ and ‘Jungle’, Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and many others. In a career spanning many years, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has seen many ups and downs.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up about many aspects, including if big stars had ever stolen his lines and reduced his screen time. In the interview alongwith actress Neha Sharma, they were promoting their upcoming film ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’. When Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked had it ever happened that his lines (dialogues) had ever got edited or reducted because of the presence of a relatively bigger star, pat came the reply from Nawazuddin Siddiqui who said, “Maine badi commercial films ke hain, jisme main villain tha. But usme aisa kabhi hua nahi. Jitna maine shoot kiya, utna hi aaya. Kyunki unko bhi zarurat thi. Maine bhai (Salman Khan), Shah Rukh aur Tiger Shroff ke saath kaam kiya. Isme jitna mera tha utna he mera raha. Ek scene idhar udhar nahi hua.” (I have done many big commercial films in which I have played the role of a villain, and in those films, the scenes I shot for were all retained. I have also worked with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Tiger Shroff and many others. My scenes had never been reduced or cut).

Nawazuddin Siddiqui went onto cite an example of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The actor said that, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan main toh aise hua ke bohot baar Salman bhai ne apni line mujhe de di. On the spot hua. Mere saath kabhi aisa nahi hua, mujhe aur mila hai (During the shooting of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, it so happened that Salman bhai gave me his lines. All these happened on the spot. It has never happened with me... I have only got a lot”.

As for the film ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’, besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma, the film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Mahaakshay Chakraborty and Zarina Wahab in important roles.
