Nawazuddin Siddique's ex-wife, Aaliya, introduces new beau; says she will drop the actor's surname soon

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, recently uploaded a picture with a mysterious man on her Instagram page.

While she didn't introduce the man or define their relationship, Aaliya and the man are all smiles in the picture, as they cosy up with each other over a cup of coffee.

Aaliya captioned the picture, "It has taken over 19 years to get out of the relationship that I treasured. But in my life, my children’s are my priority, they were always and they will be. However, there are few relationships that are bigger than and beyond friendship, and this relationship is the same relationship and I am very happy about the same hence shared my happiness with you all. Don’t I have the right to be happy? (sic)"

While the post received mixed reactions from her followers, with an equal number of people congratulating and slamming her, one user told her that it's time she changed her surname. Aaliya still goes by 'Aaliya Siddiqui' and her handle on Instagram is 'Aaliya Nawazuddin'. 

The user commented, "Surname change karlijye aap (change your surname)". To this, Aaliya replied, "Bohot jaldi (soon)".

During their divorce, Aaliya accused Nawazuddin and his family of harassment. In March 2023, she claimed that the actor had thrown her and their two minor children out of his house.
