Squid Game, which released more than a couple of months ago on Netflix, received humongous response from critics and the audience alike. The sensational success of the show made the makers release it in more languages, among which Tamil is a prominent one.
Veteran actor Nasser has been roped in to lend voice for an important character in the series. The Twitter handle of Netflix India South surprised the fans of the show by releasing a three-minute video clip which has the actor dubbing for Oh Young-Soo's character in it.
The video begins with Nasser focusing on his Tamil lines for a particular scene. He says, "The whole world has been talking about the web series Squid Game today. Made in Korean language, it is now being dubbed in several languages apart from being available in subtitles. I'm dubbing for a very important character played by Oh Young-Soo."
Nasser adds that the 77-year-old actor has done a fantastic job despite him coming across as a fragile person. The video then has him discussing with the team about the use of appropriate Tamil word for happiness in a crucial scene.
The video also features him dubbing looking at the lip movement of Oh Young-Soo, which is nothing short of a treat for the fans of the series and the actor. At one point, Nasser goes gaga over the plot twists and says it reminded him of Mahabharatam.
He says, "It is a series made on the aspect of human greed and its impact. So, you can imagine how intriguing it will be. Watch Squid Game on Netflix and let me know your opinion on my dubbing for its Tamil version.
