Naresh turns Haridas for ZEE5's Oka Chinna Family Story; here's his first look

It takes a lot of skill and adaptability to reinvent yourself with time in cinema. Actor Naresh has upgraded his craft so deftly for over four decades in Telugu cinema now and his next is a family dramedy on ZEE5, Oka Chinna Family Story. He is cast in the role of a problematic father, Haridas, in the same and it's a joy to hear him speak in the Telangana dialect, in whatever little we got to see from him in the teaser of the show. The web original is produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and directed by Mahesh Uppala. The first look of his character was unveiled today.

ZEE5 Telugu, in its social media handle, posted, "Mana chinna family story lo "Oh my God" anipinche la pedda gift icchina Nanna #Haridas a.k.a @ItsActorNaresh. The story revolves around the plight of a middle-class family, in clearing a debt amounting to Rs 25 lakh. Thulasi essays the role of his on-screen wife, while Sangeeth Shobhan plays his son. Simran Sharma, Getup Srinu also form the lead cast of this ZEE5 original.

The compelling teaser of Oka Chinna Family Story was launched by actor Nani during the previous weekend, while the character poster of Mahesh, the role played by Sangeeth Shobhan was released yesterday. The ZEE5 original is releasing on the platform on November 19. The writer Manasa Sharma, the director Mahesh Uppala and the producer of the show, Niharika, had also collaborated for another series named Madhouse in the past. Mahesh Uppala is an engineer-turned-filmmaker who made several short films in the past prior to his web debut.
