Rakshit Alturi, after rising to prominence with his performances in London Babulu and Palasa 1978, will be seen in Narakasura, the first pan-Indian film in his career. Sebastian Noah Acosta Jr. directs the film produced by Ajja Sreenivas and Karumuru Raghu under Sumukha Creations and Ideal Filmmaker. After unveiling the glimpse, teaser, Narakasura’s release date was announced today.
Narakasura will be out in theatres across the globe on November 3. Reputed distribution house Usha Pictures will be releasing the film in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. The film has been in the making for over three years now. The team will soon be embarking on a promotional tour across Telugu states, the makers confirmed.
“Just because the promos you watched are packed with action, don’t mistake it to be a violent film. Narakasura has a lot of commercial elements, mixed emotions and humour that the masses will enjoy. I maintained the same look for the film for over three years and when I watched the final copy recently, I was only proud. We have all worked very hard on the film,” Rakshit Atluri said.
The film will have several moments that’ll leave you in awe, he added. Two of other Rakshit’s films - Sasivadane and Operation Raavan - are also set for release in the coming months and he assures that they won’t disappoint viewers. Narakasura is a redemption saga where the protagonist and a group of victims wreak havoc on the lives of those who misuse their power in a village.
