Narain calls Suriya's character in Kamal Haasan's Vikram a crucial one

Ever since the news is officially out that Suriya has made a special appearance in Kamal Haasan's action entertainer Vikram, fans of the actor are excited and eagerly looking forward to his character in the film. Now in a recent interview to a YouTube channel, Narain has called Suriya's cameo in the film, a crucial one.

It was not long ago that the film's dialogue writer Rathna Kumar had stated that Suriya had done something 'wild' in the film. Kumar had said that he would be seen in an avatar that the audience would never even have imagined him in. This has piqued the curiosity among the actor's fans and raised expectations about his character in the film.

Though speculations were rife that Suriya was part of Vikram and that he had done a cameo in the film, the team managed to keep the news under wraps. The film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj finally revealed the same on the audio and trailer launch event of the film. Later, he shared a picture of Suriya with Vikram team. He captioned it, "More than Happy to welcome @Suriya_offlSir 🤗 Into the World of #Vikram 🔥@ikamalhaasan @RKFI #VikramFromJune3 (sic). " The trailer also gives a sneak peek of Suriya's scene in the film. 

Vikram has Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan. The rest of the star cast includes Antony Verghese, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Arjun Das, Gayathrie Shankar, Shanvi Srivastava, Shivani Narayanan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sampath Ram and Hareesh Peradi. Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is all set to hit screens on June 3. The digital rights of the film have been snapped by Disney + Hotstar and the satellite rights have been acquired by Star Vijay.
