Nani’s performance in Hi Nanna will have a lasting impact, says Hesham Abdul Wahab

Tollywood’s Natural Star Nani is gearing up for the release of his romantic drama Hi Nanna, which will also stars Mrunal Thakur. The film is helmed by debutant Shouryuv and has music by Hridayam-fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab. Hesham made his Telugu film debut with Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s Kushi is looking forward to the release of his second Tollywood film with Hi Nanna.

In a recent interview, the music composer spoke about his excitement over his latest project, Hi Nanna. He also noted that Telugu audiences welcome all kinds of films. “Telugu audiences have celebrated all kinds of films. They encouraged debut directors as well. I am excited about the audience’s reaction to Hi Nanna. Nani sir’s performance in the film will have a lasting impact,” the composer said.

Talking about the similarity between Hi Nanna and Hridayam’s central theme, the director emphasised that although all romantic movies have similar emotions, the singers and lyrics of the songs make all the difference. “It’s just not me, but the entire team, including the director, editor, and everyone else, are working on the same topic. The love between a boy and a girl is always the same. The thing that matters is the way these stories are told. All love songs induce the same emotion. The singers and lyrics make all the difference," the composer said.

The recently released trailer for Hi Nanna features a single father (Nani) and his daughter, Tara. The absence of a mother figure in Tara’s life leads to the introduction of Mrunal Thakur’s character. She looks gorgeous and plays a significant role in the film. The bond between the principal characters, the romance, and the father-daughter relationship are showcased in a tasteful manner in the trailer. The trailer also features Sruthi Haasan, who plays a pivotal role in the romantic drama. Jayaram and Angad Bedi are also part of the cast.
