Nandamuri Kalyan Ram says Devil has commercial ingredients and also a new story; shares Bimbisara 2 update

After staying in the news for the creative differences within the team in the previous months, the fabulous trailer of Devil has silenced all critics today. Abhishek Nama (of Abhishek Pictures) has produced and directed the film starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Malvika Nair and Samyuktha Menon in crucial roles. At the trailer launch event, the team shared interesting details about the film.

Kalyan Ram promised an entertaining film for viewers with Devil and reminded that it is by no means a one-man show. “Filmmaking is always a collaborative effort. Exactly a year ago, I remember how much the actors and technicians put into a crucial schedule. While you can see only us on the screen, a lot goes into the film. When you appreciate our efforts, our joy only doubles,” the actor said.

The star yet again thanked audiences for the response for Bimbisara. “You’ve always proved that if we give a quality product, you’ll go to any extent to appreciate it.” Devil, which arrives in theatres on December 29, will have a new story and also all the commercial ingredients to please the masses, he added. He surprised audiences by confirming that Bimbisara 2 would go on floors by April/May 2024.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Nama praised Kalyan Ram for his story selection. “It’s easy to make a commercial film, but requires taste and courage to work on a film like Devil for over two years.What you’ve seen in the trailer is only a glimpse; the film will be a feast for his fans.” Also, Samyuktha shared her excitement for the terrific trailer and said Devil has a good script and a quality team.

Malvika Nair stated that only a few films offer an opportunity to break the mould and try something new, while promising quality action sequences in Devil. Soundar Rajan has cranked the camera for the film edited by Tammiraju. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is the music director. Satya, Ester Noronha, Ajay, Seetha and Srikanth Iyengar are also part of the cast.
