Nakkhul's VascoDaGama teaser out; the actor plays a do-gooder in the film

The teaser of Nakkhul's latest project, Vasco Da Gama, directed by RG Krishnan, was released today. Taking to his social media handle, Nakkhul shared the teaser and wrote, "The #teaser of #VascoDaGama OUT NOW! The film's director, RG Krishnan, too, wrote on his microblogging page, "Generous producer Dato Subaskaran sir Master class friendly actor nakkhul Sir Brilliant Dop sathish brother & his team Talented composer nanban Arun nv & his team Nuance editor tamil kumaran & his team Story - screenplay - Dialogue - Direction by RG krishnan An RGK film. Here is the link of VASCODAGAMA Glimpse #worldofvascodagama I feel most elated to share the first glimpse of my debut film. Eagerly awaiting your blessings and support(sic)." The star cast also comprises KS Ravikumar, Munishkanth and Mottai Rajendran. 

Vasco Da Gama is billed as an adventure comedy and the first look of the film was released by many celebrities. The shoot for the film has been wrapped up. Nakkhul, plays a character, who is a do-gooder and is constantly fixing things around him. Interestingly, it was announced much earlier that the film will hit screens for Diwali this year. Nakkhul had then written on his social media page, "Bringing you the colourful and vibrant look of #vascodagamathemovie with official announcement as #Diwali2022 release. #happyvalentinesday (sic)." The film is bankrolled by Dato Subhaskharan under the banner, 5656 Productions. 

In the meantime, Nakkhul also has in his kitty, Eriyum Kannadi, in which he will team up with Sunainaa. This is the third collaboration of Nakkhul and Sunainaa after Kadhalil Vizhundhaen and Maasilamani. Eriyum Kannadi, is an action drama, which will be directed by R Kannan. While Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for the film, Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. Cinematography is by Nirav Shah.
