Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK was an Indian playback singer who made every child in the 90s groove to his songs. He started his film singing career with legendary composer A R Rahman and in 1999 launched his debut single album Pal.

From songs such as Tadap Tadap Ke from hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, to Bachna Ae Haseeno, to Beetein Lamkhein, and Alvida, KK’s songs string at almost all your heart’s chords.

In 2009, he won the Best Playback Singer - Male award at the Screen Awards for his song Khuda Jaane from Bachna Ae Haseeno. He has also received six Filmfare Award nominations. The last song he sang for a film was Yeh Hausle for Kabir Khan’s ‘83.
