Paruvu is the latest Telugu web series that has caught the attention of one and all ever since its gritty trailer was released by the makers. Naresh Agastya and Nivetha Pethuraj play the main leads in this series, which has popular actor and politician Nagababu in a negative role.

Speaking about his role, Nagababu says that he was pleasantly surprised when he was offered the role in the first place. When asked to define the caste system in India, Nagababu says that one cannot help but caste system plays a key role in politics, jobs, studies, and business. "One cannot stay out of it despite knowing the fact that we are Indians first than anyone else," says Nagababu.
Nagababu will be seen as a village head in Paruvu, and his character as a shrewd politician is quite important in the series. Nagababu is busy with his political career and supported his brother Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena party, which won the AP elections in a thumping manner.

Also, Nagababu will be seen mouthing some controversial dialogues and speaking about the same; he says this series is based on honor killing and shows people in small-town villages and other parts of India can go to any length to get their children married against their choices.
Siddharth Naidu and Rajasekhar jointly direct this series, which has Pawan Sadineni as the showrunner. Paruvu will stream on Zee 5 from June 14, 2024. On this very special date, yet another Telugu web series, Yakshini, will also stream on Hotstar. The series has been directed by Teja Marini and has Lakshmi Manchu, Vedhika, Ajay, and Rahul Vijay in key roles.
For now, Paruvu has caught the imagination of one and all as actors like Praneetha Patnaik will also be seen in a negative role. The show is based on a couple who are chased by their parent for marrying against their will and also commit a ghastly crime. All this has been showcased in a gripping manner in the trailer.
