Naga Chaitanya's last film, Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu, flopped at the box office. To make a strong comeback, Naga Chaitanya has teamed up with his favourite director, Chandoo Mondeti for a rustic village drama.
The pre-production of the film had already begun, and Naga Chaitanya met a few fishermen to get a feel for his character. Well, the latest update is that special workshops are being arranged for the team. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, along with a key cast member of the film, are attending these workshops in Hyderabad.
Chay plays a young fisherman in this film, which is being produced by GA Pictures. Bunny Vas is the producer of this yet-untitled film. We at OTTplay have come to know that the shooting of this untitled film will start on December 9, 2023.
Most of the film will be shot on the beaches of Vizag and its surrounding areas. Chay has started bulking up for his role as a fisherman. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead and she will also be seen in a powerful role in this film.
The action drama will be made on a budget of Rs 55 crore, which is the highest ever in Chay's career. The star hero is going through a series of flops in his career and has pinned a lot of hopes on this film, which his fans call the Rangasthalam of Chay's career. Watch this space for more updates.
