As Dhanush's upcoming film Naane Varuvaen gears up to hit screens on September 29, the excitement has reached a feverish peak. The film marks the reunion of brothers, director Selvaraghavan and Dhanush after a decade-long hiatus. The last time they had worked together was in Mayakkam Enna (2011). In the meantime, a fan of Dhanush has created a graphic collage of Dhanush's characters in Naane Varuvaen. Dhanush, who seemed to be mighty impressed by the same, not only shared the poster, but also appreciated the maker. He wrote on his social media handle, "Amazing !! Whoever did this. Thank you so much. #fanmade Naane varuven from day after Tom (sic)."
However, it looks like the film will not have 4am shows for the film. The early morning shows have come as a boon for officegoers and youngsters, who can catch up on the latest releases without letting their work get affected. Dhanush did not have 4am shows for his previous releases Karnan and Thiruchitrambalan as well. The FDFS for Naane Varuvaen will be at 8am in India. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 3 seconds, and is said to be quite crisp at a time when films spanning long duration have become the norm.
Dhanush will be seen in a dual role in Naane Varuvaen, one as the protagonist and the other as the antagonist. The plot is said to be about a deja vu effect between two lookalikes. The film also stars Selvaraghavan in a crucial role and this will be the first time that he will be teaming up with Dhanush on screen. The film also marks the return of Yuvan Shankar Raja to a Selvaraghavan-Dhanush project. Two songs have already been released from the album and both of them have gone on to become chartbusters. The film marks the Tamil debut of Elli AvrRam and Indhuja Ravichandran will be playing the other leading lady in it.
