However, not many know that she is in the news not only because of the reality show but also for her latest web series on Altt titled Naag Vadhu-Ek Zehreeli Kahani. Poulomi Das on Naag Vadhu-Ek Zehreeli Kahani

The young diva, who is headlining the web series, recently said in a press statement that Naag Vadhu depicts the struggles faced by women in their lives. Das, who has worked previously in web series like Baarish and Naagin 6, revealed that her character in Naag Vadhu is named Sanvari, who hails from a stereotypical fictional village in India.

The narrative centers on how Sanvari’s life changed after getting married off in a socially backward family. "The show tells you how she gets over that phase of her life. The series depicts the journey of a woman and her struggle within," said Poulomi in a chat with IANS.

Das further expressed that she shared a great professional bond with Naag Vadhu’s director, Jeetu – who previously directed the hit Altt web series ‘Paurashpur’.

Naag Vadhu can be viewed anytime on Altt. It began streaming on June 21.

Is Subuhii Joshii of Splitsvilla Season 8 fame also a part of Naag Vadhu?

Yes. Alongside Das, Subuhii Joshii will also be seen playing a key role in the web series. Her character will unfurl the hidden secrets of the Nag palace, or a palace ruled by magical serpents.

Also, actress Tanya Desai will be seen playing the character of Thakurain in the new series on Altt.
