What does the teaser show?
Based on author Jo Hae Jin's 2019 novel - I Met Loh Kiwan, the K-Drama - My Name is Loh Kiwan tells the story of Loh Kiwan (Song Joong-ki), a North Korean defector, who left his own country. Arriving in Belgium with his last shred of hope, Loh Kiwan encounters Marie (Choi Sung-eun), a woman who has lost her will to live. Their paths collide, and an unlikely romance blossoms, but don't get your hopes up! Their lives are threatened by some harsh realities.
Haunted by his past, Loh Kiwan desperately seeks recognition as a refugee, but he constantly fails miserably. The weight of his trauma threatens to crush him physically and mentally as well. But after meeting Marie, can they both overcome their own struggles while supporting each other? Well to know the answer, you have to wait for March 1.
About Song Joong-ki's life
Despite receiving heavy backlashes and hatred for divorcing ex-wife Song Hye-kyo in 2019, Song Joong-ki tied the knot for the second time with Katy Louise Saunders, who is an English actress, born in London in January last year, and the couple has welcomed their baby boy in June.
