My Marriage Is Fixed full video: Watch Ganesh groove to Chandan Shetty’s peppy number

Golden Star Ganesh’s Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi is one of the big hits of the year and still holds a few theatres, more than 40 days after its theatrical release. The Srinivasa Raju-directed romantic comedy is headed to OTT shortly, with Amazon Prime Video reportedly having picked up the streaming rights. Ahead of this, the team has been giving audiences access to the full videos of all its hit songs, of which there are many.

Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi’s soundtrack, composed by Arjun Janya, has 7-8 songs, most of which, including the viral hit Dwapara, have already been put in the public domain. Moments ago, it was the turn of My Marriage is Fixed, which, incidentally, was the first song to be released as a lyrical video prior to the film’s theatrical outing. The song, sung by Chandan Shetty, is a dream number, featuring Ganesh, and a bunch of ‘brides’.

The film, meanwhile, is said to be the second highest grosser in Ganesh’s career, with last reported figures pegging its box office performance a tad under Rs 20 crore. It gave the actor a much-needed hit, as well as for the Kannada industry, which had been in a prolonged lull since the start of the year until Duniya Vijay’s Bheema came along in early August.

Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi had opened to mixed reviews, but worked very well with audiences, primarily on the strength of its hit music. The film had Ganesh as a business tycoon, falling in love with an orphaned girl, only to have their relationship suffer when he gets retrograde amnesia and forgets her. Whether or not the duo find their happily-ever-after is what Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi is about.
