A few days after Gyaarah Gyaarah's release, ZEE5 recently announced its new web show. Murshid, starring Kay Kay Menon in the lead role, will premiere on the streaming platform by the end of this month. The streamer dropped the first poster of Murshid, which features Kay Kay and his co-star Tanuj Virwani. And today, Tanuj shared his character poster of Murshid. While his character name isn't known yet, Virwani will be seen as a cop in this series.

Murshid will start streaming on the OTT platform on August 30, 2024. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium. Before its premiere, Tanuj shared his character poster, which shows him in an intense avatar as a police officer. While sharing the poster, Virwani updated his followers about Murshid's trailer. The caption to his Instagram post read, "Trailer Out Soon. Stay Tuned !!! (sic)." Take a look at the post below:
The basic premise of Murshid is reportedly about a gangster who wants to rule over Mumbai. Besides Tanuj and Kay Kay, Murshid stars Anang Desai, Jameel Chaudhary, and Zakir Hussain in key roles.
The previous poster of Murshid showcased Menon in a powerful look (likely of a gangster). While sharing the show's first poster, the makers mentioned, "Yeh Bombay hai meri jaan, aur yahan Sartaj-e-Bambai urf Murshid Bhai ka sikka chalta hai! Murshid premieres 30th August, only on ZEE5 (sic)."

Meanwhile, Tanuj recently concluded his hosting duties for Splitsvilla 15. He co-hosted the dating reality show with actress Sunny Leone. Before that, he was seen in Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre's film Yodha. The actor shared screen space with Sidharth Malhotra in the action-thriller. It had a theatrical release earlier this year.
