The thriller series Murshid has been receiving a lot of love from viewers. The show, which stars Kay Kay Menon, Zakir Hussain, and Tanuj Virwani premiered on August 30 on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. The gangster drama, which is set in Mumbai received an amazing response and has already clocked over 200 million watches after its OTT release. To keep the buzz around the show, the makers have now unveiled a new poster from the show.

Murshid New Poster

Taking to their social media account, the makers of the show shared a new poster featuring Kay Kay Menon. In the poster, the actor can be seen holding a gun against the backdrop of Gate Way Of India. The text on the poster read: "Bambai Ka Badshah" in bold letters.

The caption on the post read: "Yeh shehar uska hai, aur yahan uska hukum chalta hai! #Murshid streaming now, only on #ZEE5 #MurshidOnZEE5"

Take a look at the new poster below:

For the uninitiated, Kay Kay plays the character of a mafia don in Shravan Tiwari's directorial. Earlier, in an interview with Mid-Day, Tanuj Virwani, who plays Kay Kay's adopted son in the show talked about the actor and revealed that he was the major reason he gave a nod for the show. "My number one reason for saying yes to the project was the fact that Kay Kay Menon was front and centre," he told the tabloid.

An excerpt from the OTTplay review read: "It is Kay Kay Menon who is effortlessly cool whether as a gangster or a father. Zakir Hussain comes a close second, and Tanuj Virwani follows suit. So, if good acting is what you’re looking for, and you’re a Kay Kay Menon fan (which most of us are), then you should not miss out on this one, since the actor gives you the most with minimal work."

Produced by Sachin Bansal and Sandip Patel, Murshid started streaming on ZEE5 on August 30. It is also available for viewing with your OTTplay Premium subscription. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more updates from the world of streaming and films.
