Munjya Telugu is now out on OTT: Where to watch the Abhay Varma, Sharvari starrer

Munjya is the latest Hindi blockbuster that made big money at the box office. At the end of its run, the horror thriller made close to Rs 140 crore worldwide. We at OTTplay have already revealed that Muniya started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on August 23, 2024. 

Hindi hit Munjya is now streaming in Telugu

Ever since it landed on OTT, the film has been streamed by millions. But the sad part was that the film did not have Telugu or Tamil language options. The latest update is that Munjya can now be streamed in Telugu and Tamil on Disney+ Hotstar.

The popular OTT made the Telugu language option available on September 22, 2024. A few happy fans shared their excitement stating that the crazy thriller is now available in Telugu as well. Munjya belongs to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and had Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Sathyaraj, and Mona Singh in lead roles.

The hit film was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and was produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. It was the fourth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Munjya was released on June 7, 2024, to a solid word of mouth.

Made on a mere budget of Rs 30 crore, the film made big money at the box office and landed the makers solid profit. The makers also sold the OTT rights for a crazy price and made big money with this film.

The film has a simple storyline but is narrated in a very gripping and fun manner. Munjya was also watched by many in Telugu states and the collections from the Telugu states contributed to the overall collections.
