After successful horror comedies like Stree and Bhediya, Maddock Films is gearing up for the release of its newest horror-comedy titled Munjya. Amidst the buzz around the film, the makers today released the trailer of the film starring Sharvari Wagh, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj. The film is set to be released in theatres on June 7, 2024. We have now got to know where the film will stream after its theatrical run. Yes, Disney+ Hotstar has been revealed as the OTT partner of Munjya, and it will drop on the streaming platform likely two months after it entertains the audience on the big screen.

As the trailer reveals, the film revolves around India's best CGI actor, Munjya. The narrative is set to showcase a horror story about him and his way of dealing with the obsession of love, based on folklore.
The story of Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial film centers on Munjya and is a deeply intriguing tale from Indian culture and belief, which also comes with a dose of laughter and scare.

Meanwhile, speaking about the film, producer Dinesh Vijan said, “At the heart of it, this is Munjya’s love story and it’s about his first love, Munni. However, he doesn’t get her! If you’ve ever had an obsessive lover or obsessed over anybody, you will understand his POV. If not his, Munni’s for sure, he jokingly adds."
Speaking further about how Munjya is the most advanced CGI actor in India, the producer added, "Munjya is technologically the most advanced CGI actor out there in India and we are very proud of it. It definitely is going to be a spectacle for children, gen next and the whole family.”
