2024 started on a positive note for comedian Munawar Faruqui and his fans. In January, he won the famous reality show Bigg Boss Season 17, defeating Abhishek Kumar in the race. A day after this development, lakhs of people welcomed the 32-year-old comedian to his native place – Dongri (a port city in Maharashtra), following which he grabbed the top spot in news headlines. While fans of the Bigg Boss star are yet to sink in the news, the latest update suggests that he has resumed work and is back in action.
This evening, Munawar informed his fans and well-wishers that his latest stand-up comedy video will be out soon. And guess what? The video has been released now. Titled ‘Legends of Abba Kadar’, the video has received lakhs of views within just 15 minutes of his release.
The video begins with him saying, “Yeh kahaani hai ek bure insaan ki acche insaan banne ki (This is a story about a man from being bad to good human.)” Hearing this, the audience seen in the video shouted out with excitement loudly. ‘Legacy, legacy' can be heard in the backdrop of the video. Munawar continued, “Yahan se aap sabhi log kuch seekh kar jaoge. (You all will surely learn something after this.)” The audience roared loudly in excitement again.
Munawar then narrated a story of fictional character named Abba Kadar.

Munawar, aged 32, emerged victorious in the grand finale on Sunday, securing the winning trophy, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs, and a car. The runner-up for this season was actor Abhishek Kumar, while Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra also made it to the finals. Munawar expressed gratitude in an Instagram post alongside a picture with Salman, saying, "Bohot Bohot Shukriya (Thank you very much).”
