Mumbaikar is the upcoming action thriller film, which marks the Bollywood debut of the South star Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by Santosh Sivan, it also stars Vikrant Massey, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjay Mishra and Ranvir Shorey in pivotal roles. After a thriller official teaser, the makers have now unveiled the trailer of the anticipated movie.
The latest official video begins with Sethupathi stepping out of an as soon as he reaches Mumbai. Shorey enters the montage as a big-time gangster with long hair wearing colourful and quirky suits. Moving on, the video unveils that his son mistakenly gets kidnapped by Sethupathi, who wants to return it but somehow he loses the kid to Massey and Maniktala.
The trailer further witnesses the whole confusion and chaos as both Sethupathi and Massey-Manikatala ask Shorey to arrive at their destination to return his son. The upcoming film appears to be a crime-comedy with full drama.

The upcoming movie is based on the story by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is adapted from his 2017 Indian Tamil-language hyperlink action thriller film named Maanagaram starring Sri, Sundeep Kishan, and Regina Cassandra.
Mumbaikar, which also has Raghav Binani, Hridhu Haroon, Ishan Mishra and Sachin Khedekar in key roles, is slated to have a direct-to-OTT release on Jio Cinema on June 2 for free.
