Mumbai Police does it again, shares memes on Barbie and Oppenheimer; leaves the netizens smiling

Trust the social media handle of Mumbai Police to come up with something funny and creative… but, not without telling a message that is hard hitting, but, in a subtle way. There have been many instances in the past when the social media handle of Mumbai Police had come up with ‘creatively funny post with a message’ kind of posts. This time round, Mumbai Police has done it again.

keeping up with the tradition of ‘being in tune’ with the latest happenings, Mumbai Police chose to do something creative with the latest Hollywood releases, which are ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’. For the unversed, two of the Hollywood films Greta Gerwig's ‘Barbie’ and Christopher Nolan's ‘Oppenheimer’ are all set for their respective theatrical releases on July 21 this year. Ever since the time the news about the release of these two films had got declared, many cinegoers are super excited all across the globe. Mumbai Police, too, on their part, shared a creative post on social media, through which they intended to informed people about the public safety through the form of their creative posts.

Their said post was captioned as "With such 'Barbie' actions, you're signing up for Oppenheimer consequences”. There was also an adjoining photograph along with the caption. The photograph showed a lit cigarette in a man’s hand with the logo caption of ‘Barbie’ and had been written ‘start’, whereas, there was a photo of a jail adjacent to it, which had the word written ‘ending’ alongwith the ‘Oppenheimer’s logo.

In no time, the post was flooded with comments galore from many. While there were a few who were not too happy about the post, but, most of the netizens seemed to have simply loved the said post.
