Sushant Singh Rajput's final performance as an actor was in the Mukesh Chhabra-directed film "Dil Bechara," which debuted on OTT in July 2020. Recently, Sushant's fans got a little emotional when Chhabra tweeted about a possible sequel to the movie.
In Dil Bechara, which is based on John Green's novel The Fault in Our Stars, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi play two cancer patients who are in their final stages of life. They become close friends while enduring the same tragedy. Years after the movie's release, filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra wrote "Dil Bechara 2" in a post on his social media platform.
As soon as the director tweeted on X, fans were emotional in the comments section. One user wrote, "Rulaoge kya", while another wrote, "#SushantSinghRajput k bina???" Another social media user wrote, “looking forward.” Music composer and singer Amaal Mallik also commented with multiple hearts on the post.

Along with Sahil Vaid, Saswata Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Sunit Tandon, Michael Muthu, Rajie Vijay Sarathy, and Subbalakshmi in significant parts, the film also had a cameo appearance from Saif Ali Khan. Written by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta, the romantic film was produced by Fox Star Studios and directed by Mukesh Chhabra.
