Mrunal Thakur celebrates her birthday on VD13 sets with Vijay Deverakonda, Parasuram Petla

Mrunal Thakur, whose film career took off with the Marathi project Vitti Dandu, made her presence felt in Hindi cinema gradually with her credible performances in films like Love Sonia, Super 30, Jersey, Toofaan and Dhamaka. However, there’s no denying that the Telugu film Sita Ramam was her game changer, after which she was flooded with offers from various corners.

While she was seen in Gumraah and Lust Stories 2 in Hindi this year, she’s awaiting the release of many prominent projects like Made in Heaven 2, Hi Nanna, to name a few. The actress, who celebrates her birthday today, also signed VD13, a romance entertainer with Vijay Deverakonda, whose shoot commenced recently. She rung in her 31st birthday on the sets of the film.

Producers Shirish, Hanshitha Reddy, director Parasuram Petla, actor Vijay Deverakonda, cinematographer KU Mohanan and others are seen in the image.

VD13 is expected to be a light-hearted film and will have music by Gopi Sundar. The makers completed their recce in several scenic locations and are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a Sankranthi 2024 release. The producer Dil Raju has an enviable record during the festive season in January and the team combo looks set to repeat that magic again.

AS Prakash is the art director of the same and the crew also includes senior technician Marthand K Venkatesh, art director AS Prakash. Earlier today, another poster of Mrunal Thakur, from Hi Nanna, her film with Nani, was unveiled by the team. It’s rumoured that she’ll share screenspace with Sivakarthikeyan for a Tamil film.
