After the roaring success of Jawan, Sanya Malhotra is gearing up for the premiere of her film Mrs. The actress will be seen essaying the lead in Arati Kadav's movie, which is backed by Jyoti Deshpande. The makers of Sanya's film dropped the teaser and announced that Mrs will premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival on November 17, 2023.

The teaser of Mrs begins with Sanya jamming to music. It is followed by her marriage and being welcomed into her sasural by her in-laws. The actress' character completes all of her kitchen duties by preparing different delicacies. At the same time, it is shown that she is dancing on a stage. It seems that her character aspires to be a classical dancer.
Towards the end, the actress' on-screen husband tells her that she will have to abide by the house rules if she wants to continue living in his house. 'Varna kya? Kya kar loge?,' Malhotra's character hits back. In this movie, the actress attempts to break the patriarchal norms.

According to ETimes, in an official statement, Sanya Malhotra spoke about Mrs. "I'm overjoyed to share the news of Mrs. being selected for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. This film is very close to my heart, as it is a reminder that women have the strength to shatter the chains of patriarchal norms. My character's determination as an aspiring dancer in the face of patriarchal expectations reflects the resilience of women."
On the work front for Sanya
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanya also has Sam Bahadur lined up for release. She will be seen sharing screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the movie. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023. It will clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's Animal at the box office.
