Mr. Bachchan OTT release date: When to watch the Ravi Teja action drama

Mr. Bachchan was one of the most-awaited films in Telugu cinema as Ravi Teja had teamed up with his favorite director Harish Shankar for the third time and there were massive expectations for the film. As the songs were a rage and Harish Shankar kept the film in the news with his controversial interviews, the craze for the film went to the next level.

To avoid competition with Ram Pothineni's Double Ismart, the makers arranged for special premieres on August 14, 2024. But sadly, the flop talk came out and made the film fall flat at the box office when it was released on August 15, 2024.

Before the film's release, we at OTTplay have revealed that the makers, People Media Factory sold the OTT rights to Netflix for a massive Rs 33 crore, the highest for any Ravi Teja film. Now that the film has ended as a massive flop, Netflix has decided to stream the action drama within one month of its release.

As per the latest update, Mr. Bachchan will be available for streaming from September 12, 2024. An official confirmation has been made by Netflix today. Bhagyashree Borse made her debut with this film and she is one of the major highlights of the film. Her glamor, and chemistry with Ravi Teja became one of the biggest talking points of the film.

On the other hand, Ravi Teja needed a big hit as his last two films, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Eagle ended as massive flops at the box office. So, he pinned a lot of hopes on this film but Mr. Bachchan flopped and both Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have been trolled for remaking a hit Hindi film like Raid which was an intense flick.

The makers, People Media Factory has seen massive losses thanks to Harish Shankar who narrated the film in a disappointed manner. For now, Mr. Bachchan will be out on OTT on September 12, 2024. Watch this space for more.
