After a few glimpses, the trailer for Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is finally out. Unlike the rumours that the film portrays both the leading actors, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, as fans of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the story is entirely different. The film is all about two huge cricket fans who believe "Cricket is life, and life is cricket."
In the trailer, we see that Rajkummar and Janhvi get married in an arranged match and are trying to discover each other one step at a time. In no time, they get to know that they share a common love for cricket. Furthermore, we discover that Rajkummar's character has a history of not making it to the cricket team, leading his father, Kumud Mishra, to view him as a failure. On the other hand, Janhvi's character is that of a doctor, but her onscreen husband sees her incredible cricketing skills and urges her to live her dream of becoming a cricketer, not that which her parents dreamt of for her.
