Marry My Husband fame Na In-woo is geared up for the release of his upcoming K-drama, Motel California. Apart from him, the South Korean series also stars Lee Se-young. The series has been creating a buzz ever since it was announced. As the release is near, here is everything you need to know about Motel California.
The first episode of Motel California will be released on Friday, January 10, 2025. It releases at 21.50 KST, i.e. at 6.20 pm IST every Friday and Saturday.
Motel California will land on the streaming platform Viki. It has a total of 12 episodes, and if it can be kept on schedule, it will stream until February 15.

For the uninitiated, Motel California is based on Shim Yoon-seo's novel Home, Bitter Home. It is a romance drama series about a woman who returns to her hometown after 12 years to reconnect with her first love.
In the series, Na In-woo will be seen as a hopeless romantic veterinarian. Lee Se-yeong's Ji Gang-hui grew up in a rural motel called Motel California, where her father worked. She faced prejudice in her small town due to her mixed-race background.
Meanwhile, she fell in love with her childhood friend, Chun Yeon-soo (Na In-woo), but left for Seoul at age 20 to pursue interior design. Twelve years later, she returns to her hometown and reconnects with Yeon-soo, now a veterinarian.
Lee Se-yeong plays Ji Gang-hui. She is a struggling interior designer who returns to her hometown after 12 years. Na In-woo plays Chun Yeon-soo, he is Gang-hui's first love and a veterinarian in her hometown. The series also stars Choi Min-soo. He plays the role of Gang-hui’s father, Ji Chun-pil. The cast also features Kim Tae-hyeong (Gu Won) as Geum Seok-kyeong and Choi Hee-jin as Yoon Nan-woo.
Meanwhile, Motel California is set to explore the themes of human life and healing and how the characters support each other despite their imperfections.
