Moonwalk on OTT: Samir Kochhar, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Nidhi Singh's characters revealed in new posters

Samir Kochhar, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Nidhi Singh are all set to be seen in a quirky tale of love and heist in JioCinema's upcoming series, Moonwalk. The plot revolves around two thieves trying to steal one of the most expensive things to win over their dream girl, Chandni. Ahead of the release, the makers introduced us to the characters with new posters.

On December 16, JioCinema took to their Instagram account and introduced us to the lead characters of Moonwalk. The poster features Tarik Pandey (Anshumaan Pushkar), Rampur's best thief. His dialogue is, "Chori ek kala hai aur hum kalakaar." (Stealing is an art and I am the artist)

On the other hand, Maddy (played by Samir Kochhar) is a Delhi con artist. He says, "Con artist hoon, picturein banti hai hum pe." (I am a con artist and films are made on me). One more lead character, Chandni (played by Nidhi Singh), the dream girl of Maddy and Tarik, says, "Kaha tum duniya jeetne nikle the, aur ek Rampur ki ladki se haar gaye." (You guys fell for one simple Rampur girl while trying to win the world)

While sharing the post, they captioned it, "Miliye Moonwalk ke kalakaaron se! #Moonwalk, streaming 20 December onwards, only on JioCinema Premium."

Moonwalk cast talk about their characters

In a statement, Samir Kochhar talked about his character Maddy. He said his character is a legend in the world of heists, who performs impossible tasks with unmatched skill and charisma. He also added that Maddy is always one step ahead and has a dark edge beneath her cute exterior.

"This character brings surprises as the story unfolds, and that's what makes it interesting. I'm also excited to do something different this time from my previous roles. Moonwalk is exciting, unpredictable, and has everything the audience will look forward to - complete drama and entertainment," he shared.

Meanwhile, Anshumaan who plays the role of Tarik said that Moonwalk has been an 'exhilarating journey' for him, both as an actor and as a part of such a fun and exciting project. He expressed his gratitude as he got the opportunity to collaborate with incredible talents like Sheeba Chadha and Samir Kochhar, who bring so much depth to their craft, and added, "This was also one of my first projects, making it all the more special and memorable for me."

On the other hand, Nidhi shared that she thoroughly enjoyed exploring Chandni's chemistry with Anshumaan and Samir, as their bond evolves in a heartfelt and meaningful way, adding depth to the story.

Meanwhile, Moonwalk is directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Jyoti Deshpande (Jio Studios) and Ajay G Rai (Jar Pictures) and will be released on JioCinema on December 20. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium.
