A new Tamil film is in town! Actor-filmmaker and choreographer Prabhudheva is set to team up with comedian Yogi Babu for a film. It has been titled Moon Walk. The makers released the first look poster of the film featuring Prabhudheva. Read on further to know more details about the project.

A new Tamil film was announced on Wednesday starring Prabhudheva and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. It has been titled Moon Walk, a term which is known to be the signature dance step of pop icon Michael Jackson. The poster, which is filled with blue and white shades, shows Prabhudheva with a hat, against the backdrop of what may seem like ocean waves.

The film is directed by filmmaker Manoj NS, founder-CEO of Behindwoods and has music by AR Rahman. The film is bankrolled by the director along with Divya Manoj and Praveen Elak. While a release date is yet to be mentioned, Moon Walk will release in multiple languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

The film's cast will include known artists from Tamil and Malayalam film industries. Apart from Prabhudheva, Yogi Babu, Moon Walk will star actors Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satz, Nishma Chengappa, Sushmitha Nayak, Redin Kingsley, Rajendran, Singampuli, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, TSR Srinivasan, Deepa Shankar, Santhosh Jacob, Lollu Sabha Manohar and Ramkumar Natarajan among others.
Moon Walk will have music scored by AR Rahman, which further increases the interest on the project. He will be teaming up with Prabhudheva again after 25 years. The director, Manoj NS, has also written the story screenplay and dialogues along with Satz, Vikie and Siva Shankar Natarajan.
The camera will be cranked by cinematographer Anoop V Shylaja. Raymond Derrick Crasta is the editor of the film. Not much about the film’s plot and story have been revealed by the makers so far. But going by the title and posters, Moon Walk is expected to be a light-hearted entertainer with dance elements. The film is currently shooting its second schedule in Chennai and will release in 2025.
