The actor's kitty now includes another critically acclaimed project. Singh has reportedly joined Sudip Sharma's (the show's creator) second season of Kohrra, according to Mid Day.

Kohrra's first season success and the commencement of Season 2

After its 2023 debut, the crime thriller on Netflix starring Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, and Harleen Sethi garnered enthusiastic reviews. Last month, filming for the second season commenced, with Sharma serving as co-writer and Randeep Jha as director.

The second season is now filming in Punjab, and a source has revealed to the tabloid that Singh is the newest cast member. Her proficiency in Punjabi makes her an ideal addition to the team, and they are thrilled to have her on board. Like everyone else, the actor is ecstatic to be collaborating with Sharma, who is renowned for crafting multi-layered characters.

Nothing is known about Singh's character at this time. According to reports, Singh and Sobti are already on schedule to shoot for the series.

The status of Suvinder, Kohrra's breakthrough star, in relation to his role in the second season remains uncertain. The insider also revealed that the makers are moving forward with a new case.

Plot overview of Kohrra's first season

In the first season of Kohrra, the authorities are trying to apprehend the killer after finding the groom dead two days before his wedding.

The series stars Suvinder Vicky as Sub-inspector Balbir Singh of the Punjab Police, Nim rat's father, Raman's father-in-law, and Golu's maternal grandpa. Barun Sobti portrays Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Jasjit Garundi in the Punjab Police. He also portrays Jung's younger brother, Rajji's brother-in-law, and Silky's fiancé. On the other hand, Harleen Sethi plays Nimrat Kaur, girlfriend of Karan Gill, daughter of Balbir, and Raman, mother of Golu.
