The OTT release date of Momo in Dubai, which has Aneesh G Menon and Anu Sithara, has been announced

Debutant director Ameen Aslam’s children’s feel-good entertainer Momo in Dubai is finally gearing up for its OTT release. The movie, which hit theatres in February, had faced stiff competition from Jithu Madhavan’s Romancham, but the family audience, who did manage to watch the movie had lauded its pace and storyline.
Scripted by Sudani from Nigeria and Halal Love Story director Zakariya and Ayisha scriptwriter Ashif Kakkodi, Momo in Dubai has Anu Sithara, Aneesh G Menon and Johny Antony essaying pivotal roles with child artistes Athrey Baijuraj, Arafa Rahman and Najin Abbas Ali playing important characters.
The film is set extensively in Dubai and is also co-produced by an UAE national. It revolves around young Athrey’s character, Momo’s dreams of visiting the Burj Khali in Dubai. After his father, who is struggling financially, brings the family to the Emirate, the series of incidents that happen due to Momo’s antics and how it puts the father in a fix form the plot of this movie, which explore the bonds between parents and children as well as the latter’s dreams.
In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Anu Sithara, who essays the role of Khadija, said, “I had a lovely experience working on the film, as I was able to learn a lot. If you see Zakaria’s past films, you would be able to understand the way the team works. It did not feel as if I was ‘acting’, it was like I was living the character, which was a new experience for me.”
Momo in Dubai is set to begin streaming on Manorama Max from March 17. The film will also be available on OTTplay Premium. Incidentally, Manorama Max has also bagged the rights for the comedy-entertainer Enkilum Chandrike, which has Suraj Venjaramoodu, Basil Joseph, Saiju Kurup, Tanvi Ram and Niranjana Anoop as part of the cast.
