Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema and has been ruling the industry for the last 50 years. His son, Nandamuri Mokshagnya, is all set to make his debut with a superhero action film directed by Prasanth Varma of Hanuman fame. We, at OTTplay, were the first to reveal that the star hero's son has also signed a film under the direction of Venky Atluri, the director of Lucky Baskhar. This news made fans ecstatic, as Venky Atluri has delivered only hit films in the past.

Latest update on Mokshagnya's second film in Telugu

The latest update is that Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments is set to bankroll the project. Speaking in an interview, the young producer revealed that Balakrishna wanted his son to work with Venky Atluri. As a result, Balakrishna watched a special screening of Lucky Baskhar. According to Naga Vamsi, Balayya locked Venky Atluri for the project just as the first half of the film ended.

The logic behind this decision is that while Mokshagnya's debut film is an action-packed drama, Balakrishna wants his son to follow it up with a simple, relatable film that will connect deeply with the audience. Venky Atluri, known for showcasing his protagonists in fresh and endearing ways, was the perfect choice to present Mokshagnya in a new avatar. The film will reportedly be made on a modest budget and will be quite experimental.

Mokshagnya's debut film launch was called off at the last minute

As for Mokshagnya, he is currently preparing for his debut action film, with the first look already released. However, just a day before the film's official launch, Mokshagnya fell ill, leading to a postponement. In an interview, Balakrishna mentioned that he would set a new launch date soon, after which the film will go straight to production. Prasanth Varma has crafted a solid script for Mokshagnya, and fans are eager to see what the young actor brings to the table.

Interestingly, more attention is now shifting towards Mokshagnya's second project with Venky Atluri, especially as the director is riding high on the success of Lucky Baskhar. This project is being closely monitored, even more so than Mokshagnya's debut film. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting venture. On the other hand, Mokshagnya will also do Aditya 999 in the direction of his father Balakrishna.
