Mohanlal’s highly anticipated film Neru is now streaming in the digital space. The film is available on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu, apart from Malayalam. Jeethu Joseph, who is credited with giving Mohanlal a few more huge hits, including Drishyam and Drishyam 2, is the director of the courtroom drama.
The film's compelling story and performances, particularly those of Mohanlal and Anaswara Rajan, won it a tonne of praise. It also raised more than Rs 100 crore in revenue after four weeks of release.
On its first day, the movie earned about ₹2.8 crore in Kerala and an amazing 54.37% occupancy rate. Afte r a few recent box office disappointments, the actor has made a strong comeback with the courtroom drama.

The makers of Neru have confirmed that the film will be streaming on a popular digital platform after its theatrical run. The Mohanlal-starrer is now available on Disney+ Hotstar following a month of its release on the big screen. The OTT rights to the courtroom drama have been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar for an astounding sum, according to sources close to the production team.
Mohanlal takes on the role of advocate Vijayamohan, who has been away from his profession for an extended period of time and battles with a lack of confidence.
Sara, a blind sculptor who is brutally raped, is the main character of the film. She decides to use Adv Vijayamohan's assistance to pursue justice against the affluent businessman Gautham, who appears to be responsible for the crime. The main plot point of the movie is whether Vijayamohan is able to get Sara the justice she deserves.
The screenplay for Neru has been penned by the director himself and actress and lawyer Santhi Mayadevi. Antony Perumbavoor has produced the courtroom drama under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Priya Mani, Jagadish, K B Ganesh Kumar, Siddique, and Sankar Induchoodan are also playing prominent roles in this movie.
