Mohanlal’s massive line-up for 2025: The superstar to team up with THESE directors?

Mohanlal is currently on a signing spree and has a massive lineup of exciting projects in his kitty. The veteran actor is all set to release his long-delayed directorial debut, Barroz 3D, on December 25, 2024. Later, Mohanlal is planning to have a busy career ahead in 2025, with back-to-back promising projects. Reportedly, the superstar is set to team up with talented filmmakers including Jithu Madhavan, Nirmal Sahadev, Krishand, and others for his next outings.

Mohanlal in Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan’s next?

As per the reports, Mohanlal is all set to team up with Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan, for his upcoming project. According to the latest updates, the talented filmmaker recently narrated an exciting subject to the Malayalam superstar, and he instantly loved it. The grapevine suggests that the project, which is touted to be an action comedy, is expected to go on floors by the end 2025, mostly in December.

Mohanlal to team up with Nirmal Sahadev?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal is also in talks with Ranam director Nirmal Sahadev, for an upcoming project. The grapevine suggests that the filmmaker is set to make a comeback to Malayalam cinema with the project, which is touted to be a horror thriller. For the uninitiated, the actor-director duo has previously teamed up for L2 Empuraan, the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, in which director Nirmal served as a directorial team member.

Mohanlal’s other upcoming projects

The superstar is set to have two back-to-back releases in the first quarter of 2025, including Tharun Moorthy’s Thudarum and Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial L2 Empuraan. Mohanlal is expected to kickstart the filming of Hridaya Poorvam, the upcoming Sathyan Anthikad directorial, in a few weeks. He is also planning to simultaneously shoot for the upcoming Mammootty starrer directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The superstar is playing a full-fledged role in the multi-starrer. Later, Mohanlal will team up with renowned filmmakers Amal Neerad, Anwar Rasheed, and Krishand, for his other upcoming Malayalam projects.
