Mohanlal’s L360 starts rolling; The Tharun Moorthy directorial to hit the theatres in October 2024?

Mohanlal is teaming up with Operation Java fame director Tharun Moorthy, for the 360th film in his career. The highly anticipated project, which has been tentatively titled L360, marks the Malayalam superstar’s reunion with veteran actress Shobana, after a long gap of 19 years. The untitled project marks the famous onscreen pair’s 56th onscreen collaboration. As per the recent updates, Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy’s ambitious project started rolling in Kerala on April 22.

Mohanlal’s L360 starts rolling

Recently, the crew members of the upcoming film took to social media and confirmed that the project started rolling in Kerala on April 22, by sharing a picture of a clapboard. As per the reports, director Tharun Moorthy and his team plan to shoot the film at the major locations of Pathanamthitta and Idukki. Reportedly, Mohanlal and Shobana’s much-awaited film, which is touted to be a family drama, is expected to have a two-month-long shooting schedule.

Reportedly, Mohanlal has allowed over 40 days to shoot his portions in the highly anticipated film. However, the reports suggest that the Malayalam superstar is yet to start shooting for L360. The leading man shared a few lovely pictures with Shobana and the rest of the team, on his social media handles. “On the set, joining in prayers as we commence filming the project led by director Tharun Moorthy and produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. I express my deepest gratitude and seek your blessings as I embark on my 360th film venture,” reads Mohanlal’s post.

Shobana, the leading lady is seen in her new look for L360 in the pictures shared by Mohanlal, on social media. The veteran actress looked gorgeous as always in a printed cotton saree, and a wavy hairdo, as she greeted her longtime co-star at the sets of L360. The evergreen star pair’s new picture together is now winning the internet.

L360 to be released in October 2024?

If the recent updates are to be believed, the makers of L360 are keen to release Mohanlal and Shobana’s film in October 2024. The grapevine suggests that director Tharun Moorthy and his team zeroed in on October 10, 2024, as the release date for the untitled film. However, a final decision on the same will be made only after the cast and crew wrap up the entire filming.
