Mohanlal is set to bounce back after a prolonged low phase in his career, with some promising projects in his kitty. The Malayalam superstar is all set to team up with both the senior filmmakers and young talents, for his upcoming projects in 2025. As reported earlier, Mohanlal is reuniting with senior filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad after a long gap of 10 years, for an upcoming family entertainer. The project, titled Hridayapoorvam, is set to go on floors in January 2025.
Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam to start rolling on THIS day
If the latest reports are to be believed, Hridayapoorvam is all set to go on floors, by the second week of January 2025. The filming of the Sathyan Anthikad directorial is expected to start rolling in Pune, Maharashtra. Mohanlal, the leading man, is expected to join the sets of the much-awaited family entertainer on January 10, 2025. The highly anticipated project is expected to have its official launch on January 25, 2025, on the special occasion of Aashirvad Cinemas’ anniversary celebrations.
As per the reports, the first schedule of the upcoming Sathyan Anthikad directorial will be widely shot at Pune, Maharashtra, throughout the first quarter of 2025. The grapevine suggests that Mohanlal plays the role of a simple family man, in Hridayapoorvam. After wrapping up the Pune schedule, the senior filmmaker and his team will move back to Kochi, Kerala, for the second schedule of the film. Hridayapoorvam: All you need to know
The story of Hridayapoorvam is penned by director Sathyan Anthikad, himself. Newcomer Sonu TP has penned the film’s screenplay. Mohanlal is said to be playing a unique character in the film, which stars senior actress Sangita Madhavan Nair and Aishwarya Lekshmi, as the female leads. Premalu actor Sangeeth Prathap is roped in to play a pivotal role.
Anu Moothedath is the director of photography. Justin Prabhakaran has been roped in to compose the songs and the original score. Hridayapoorvam is produced by Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
