Malayalam superstar Mohanlal on Thursday revealed his regal look from the upcoming movie Vrushabha. While announcing the wrap of the first schedule for the movie, Mohanlal shared his character's look in the movie. In the picture, Mohanlal's image defies his age, thanks to his inspiring physical transformation, he's looking 20 years younger.

The picture suggests that the filmmakers seem to have shot some battle sequences with Mohanlal playing the role of a sword-wielding warrior king. "And it's a wrap for us as we conclude the first shooting schedule of #Vrushabha," he captioned the pictures.

Mohanlal is reaping the benefits of hours of working out at the gym and a strict diet. At 62, Mohanlal has taken his health seriously and has become very dedicated to his fitness. Even during the shooting of his most-awaited movie Malaikottai Vaaliban, he didn't skip his workout sessions.

He frequently shares his workout videos on his Instagram page keeping his fans inspired to stay in shape. Earlier, he took the internet by storm by posting a video of him doing a rowing exercise with a 100 kg barbell

Vrushabha is Mohanlal's first pan-India movie. The movie is being shot on a very ambitious scale. Nanda Kishore, who is known for his Kannada movies such as Pogaru and Ranna, is directing the big-budget drama.

Vrushabha also marks the big-screen debut of Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor. Her association with the movie was announced spectacularly by filmmaker Karan Johar in a social media post with a lengthy heartfelt note. After completing the first schedule, Shanaya expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with Mohanlal. “First schedule is done with Mohanlal sir! It was an honour to share the screen with you, sir. Can't wait to get started with the final schedule in London next month," she posted on her Instagram story.

Vrushabha is due in cinemas in 2024.
