Mohanlal is currently going through a great phase in his acting career, with some highly promising projects in the pipeline. The Malayalam superstar made a massive comeback to silver screens with Neru, the recently released courtroom drama. The veteran actor will be next seen in Malaikottai Vaaliban, the highly anticipated period fantasy film helmed by renowned director Lijo Jose Pellissery.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Mohanlal has been invited for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, along with all the most popular celebs of Indian cinema. However, the Neru actor has given the prestigious event a miss, leaving his fans and followers confused.
The Malayalam superstar is now making headlines after he skipped the grand inaugural ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Even though Mohanlal was earlier confirmed to attend the prestigious event, the recent updates suggest that he has decided to give a miss. A group of netizens has been criticizing the veteran actor for the same and speculating that Mohanlal decided to not attend the National event to ‘please’ the leftist society of Kerala.

However, that is not the case. As you may know, Mohanlal is currently busy with the final promotions of his ambitious project, Malaikottai Vaaliban. After wrapping up the Kerala events, the superstar is planning to attend the Dubai promotional events of the Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial, which is set to release on January 25, 2024. Immediately after wrapping up the Dubai events, Mohanlal will fly to the US, to kickstart the next scheduled shooting of his upcoming film, L2 Empuraan.
So, it is safe to assume that the veteran actor was unable to make time to attend the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, amid his extremely busy schedule. However, as always, the superstar decided to ignore the criticisms and has been maintaining a dignified silence over the same. Not just Mohanlal, but also many popular celebs of the South Indian film industry have given the event a miss, due to the same reason.
