Mohanlal, who is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated movie Malaikottai Vaaliban, has explained as to why the Lijo Jose Pellissery’s film must be experienced on the big screen. "We strongly recommend that people view this film on big screen because it was shot in an eye-catching way against a large canvas," he said, during the press conference on the movie.
He stated that the cast and crew had toiled diligently for a year in various parts of the country, primarily in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer, and Pondicherry, for the film.
The actor also mentioned that Malaikottai Vaaliban features large-scale cinematography, music, and other beautifully done elements. He continued by saying that the film, which was directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, includes all human emotions, including love, grief, betrayal, and retaliation, all of which were expertly placed to enhance its beauty.
Malaikottai Vaaliban is unique in Indian cinema, according to Mohanlal, because it isn't based on any particular era or setting. “The technique used to make this film is intriguing and opens up novel possibilities for filmmakers. Every element in the movie fits perfectly with Lijo's viewpoint," he remarked.
The Neru actor mentioned that he had seen Lijo's earlier films and that he was impressed by his innovative storytelling approach and filmmaking style. "Malaikottai Vaaliban 's story has unique qualities of its own. Lijo has a clear perspective on his work,” he said.
"I was selected to be a part of this amazing cast and project; he did not make this film just for me," Mohanlal continued.

He went on to say that he occasionally declines to commit to certain scripts because they don't pique his interest, but this movie ignited his excitement right away. “The more this work developed, the more invested I became in it. I feel privileged to have these opportunities as an actor," he remarked.
Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Suchithra Nair, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan R Achari are also among the supporting cast of this film, which will hit the big screen on January 25. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada worldwide.
