Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar is set to bounce back after the box-office failure of Malaikottai Vaaliban with some exciting projects. The veteran actor is teaming up with senior director Sathyan Anthikad after a long gap, for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. As per the reports, the much-awaited project, which is touted to be a fun-filled family entertainer, is set to go on floors soon. Meanwhile, recent updates suggest that Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad’s film has now got a title.
If the recent reports are to be believed, the highly anticipated Mohanlal starrer directed by Sathyan Anthikad, has now got a title. According to the grapevine, the movie which is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, is named Hridaya Poorvam. Even though the makers have not reacted to these reports yet, the sources close to the project suggest that the official announcement is on its way.
Anoop Sathyan, the young filmmaker and son of director Sathyan Anthikad who is assisting his father in this film, recently took to his social media handles and dropped an exciting update. Interestingly, the young filmmaker shared the latest picture of Sathyan Anthikad, Mohanlal, and producer Antony Perumbavoor on his social media handles with a caption, that reads: “A super fun Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad film on the way.”
As per the reports, Hridaya Poorvam is penned by newcomer Sonu TP. Athiran and Soofiyum Sujatayum fame Anu Moothedath has joined the team as the director of photography. Justin Prabhakaran has been roped in to compose the songs and original score. The project, which is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the popular banner Aashirvad Cinemas, is yet to get its female lead and the rest of the star cast.
The much-loved actor-filmmaker duo of the Malayalam film industry worked together for the first time in 1984 for the romantic comedy, Appunni. Later, Mohanlal reunited with Sathyan Anthikad for many iconic films, including Gandhinagar 2nd Street, Nadodikkattu, Pattanapravesham, Varavelppu, Pingami, Rasathanthram, and more. The duo’s last outing, Ennum Eppozhum, which emerged as a critical and commercial success, was released in 2015.
